What is the Second Person Point of View?

The second-person point of view is a narrative perspective where the author or narrator directly addresses the reader, making the reader the protagonist or character in the story using "you" and "your".


Main features are:

Direct Engagement: The narrative speaks directly to the reader, creating an immersive and immediate experience.

Pronoun Use: The consistent use of "you" and "your" is the main indicator of this perspective.

Reader as Protagonist: The reader is placed at the centre of the events, experiencing the actions and emotions as if they were their own.

Rare in Fiction: While common in instructional and non-fiction writing (like self-help books or recipes).
